Mental Health Issues and Schizophrenia - By Lance Winslow

Most folks in America do not seem to realize exactly how bad the mental health issues are in our nation. But in the end it is not only most likely societies fault but it ends up our problem too. It is often theorized why mental health issues are so great in such an advanced civilization with such clean conditions and water.

So why do we have people with mental health problems in the United States of America? Is it due to social engineering, guilt from the church, bad parenting or some other factor? Are we sending mixed messages to our children and young adults? Do we over stress our work force and cause so many problems people cannot cope? Is life in America simply too complex and over burdensome? Some say yes to all these reason.

One issue, which seems to be at the top of the debate is why is Schizophrenia so prevalent? Hard to say, yet some believe this is from people withdrawing into their own world as a place to go to seek refuge when the stress of life is simply too much.

Well, no matter which side of the debate you fall on one must admit that Mental Health Issues and Schizophrenia are indeed issues we all must deal with, as we interact with others out there who may or may not be in their right mind. Consider all this in 2006.
